We are an honest HVAC contractor, and we’re always looking for ways to help our customers save time and money. Which is why we want you to consider your ducts.
Ducts serve your system by carrying the heated or cooled air through your house. If they are leaky, cracked, or even have small gaps some of that hot or cold heated or cooled air is escaping into places where it isn’t doing you or your family any good. Energy Star estimates most HVAC systems lose up to 30% of their production to leaky ducts. The system has to work harder to compensate for these leaks.
Improve the Performance of Your AC and Furnace with Duct Sealing
Duct sealing isn’t something a lot of people think about but it carries some massive benefits, including:
- Lowers your energy bills by making your system more efficient.
- Improved indoor air quality by reducing the amount of dust, pollutants and allergens that are pulled into the ducts.
- Reduces problems of uneven heating and cooling.
- Reduces humidity, musty odors and smells.
In fact, if your furnace or AC are not performing up to par the problem might not be the HVAC system at all. It could be your leaky, inefficient ducts.
What We Do
First, we will look at the entire duct system. After addressing physical problems like damaged or disconnected ducts, we use the Aeroseal® duct sealing system. This is a safe, non-toxic fog of sealant particles which flows through your system, blocking gaps and sealing holes, even at elbows and connections.
The sealant was designed to perfectly match particle sizes to leaky edges to make sure the seals develop properly.
This isn’t just a matter of spraying a product through your ducts either. The sealing machine we use gives us the ability to watch the progress of the process on our laptop, which ensures the leaks are being sealed properly.
Finally, we will test air flow and make sure everything is working exactly as it should be.

But my House is New – My Ducts Can’t be Leaky!
Even new homes have problems with leaky ducts. Aeroseal® is a relatively recent technology. In the past, we had to rely on putties and other less-effective sealants. This means whoever installed your ducts could have been doing the best job in the world only to leave problems in your system they had no way to solve.
We can solve the problem now, though, and are pleased to offer this service to our customers here in Brooklyn Park and the entire Twin Cities area.

How much money will duct sealing save?
Duct sealing literally pays for itself over time. It is one of the best ways to lower your energy bills by up to thirty cents on the dollar. This is a significant savings which can really add up on an annual basis. On average a homeowner can save $250-$850 a year in energy costs. Aeroseal® usually pays for itself in 3-5 years!
